Injection
After the consultation, we proceed with the Profhilo treatment. The skin in the treatment area is cleansed. Then, the doctor or nurse marks the treatment plan on the cleansed skin.
In a traditional Profhilo treatment, a doctor or nurse injects a small amount of the product into five precisely defined points on each side of the face (cheekbones, nasolabial folds, and jawline). In the neck area, the treatment is typically administered at ten injection sites.
During the Profhilo Structura treatment, small injection sites are created on both sides of the face, through which the Structura product is injected into the tissue, particularly in the lower cheek and jawline areas. A blunt cannula is used in the Profhilo Structura treatment.
After Profhilo treatment
After the Profhilo treatment, the skin is cleansed and the injection sites are checked. Small injection marks may remain on the skin. These usually fade quickly.
Small bumps that look like mosquito bites often form at the injection sites. These are a normal part of the treatment and usually subside within a few hours. Mild redness may occur, and sometimes a small bruise may also appear at the injection site.
After the treatment, you can resume your normal daily activities. However, you should avoid touching your face, applying makeup, going to the sauna, and engaging in strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours.
All aftercare instructions are reviewed verbally during the appointment. The client also receives written aftercare instructions.
When will the results be available?
The effects of Profhilo treatment begin to develop within a few days of the procedure. The first changes relate to the skin’s moisture balance and freshness, but the most noticeable results usually become apparent only after a few weeks. The final results are assessed 2–4 weeks after the completion of the treatment series.
